Designer Dirk Wynants drew his inspiration for Kosmos from the cosiness of a typical dining corner. As far as functionality goes, this novelty can be used as a table-seating combination to have a drink or a meal, but by lowering the tabletop to seat height and by adding an extra cushion it can be transformed into a cosy lounger.  When seated 6 to 9 people can take place or 2 to 3 people can stretch their legs.
